So we went on a drive up the canyon with our friends and it was still so pretty up there even with all the colors gone completely now. It's not exactly my favorite time of the year. I like it more when it's early fall or there is snow covering everything.
And the sky was clear and a beautiful blue!
Here's Kate and Sam. They are such an awesome couple!
So the real reason we went up the canyon was to bag us some sheep. Mutton is one of my favorite meats! A good leg of lamb slow cooked in the dutch oven is a slice of heaven. They were going to die during the winter anyway so we grabbed the guns and went hunting! The big one is the mom and she was too smart. The moment they saw us they ran and never stopped. Its OK because we found out its illegal to shoot them and so they live another day to be killed by trucks or the cold or even a lucky mountain lion.

So I went to Twilight with all my sisters, mom, and other friends. Twilight actually turned out to be a good movie! And I got to have fun catching up with everyone!
Here's Natalie, her and I have known each other since we were babies because our moms are old highschool friends. I was so excited to catch up with her because I had not seen her for years.
And here is my mom with her friends Ruth, Gaylynn, Ruth and Wendy the bear (she represented the missing friend). Ruth is Natalie's mom.

I have to say, we love this season with all the changing leaves. We took a drive up in the mountains and got to see the beautiful colors.
The road we drove on.

So here is our goat Meggie, who surprised us by having babies. We have no idea how or when she got pregnant, in fact we had no idea she was pregnant until we got a call saying that she had babies. It was the weirdest day. Unfortunately they died or we would have adorable little kids (baby goats) to show off.
Meggie is in the front and Nibbles/the baby as we call her is in the back. She is almost as big as Meggie now, just not as fat.
And for fun, we made a sauna in the back yard. It was a lot of fun, but next time we are going to make it out of canvas and use lava rocks. In the fire, if you look close enough you can see the rocks that we cooked.

Colors are Changing
So Curtis and I took a drive to enjoy the wonderful changes that fall brings on. Here are some pictures up Providence Canyon.
Some is still Green!
While others are totally dead.
We love it so much up in the mountains. If we could, we would be in it everyday!

Ok so I finally got some pictures of a couple of Curtis's niece and nephews. These are Melissa's, she is visiting the family for a while.
This is Brad, he is five years old and very active.
This is Tyler, he is two and my little peanut. He finally learned my name this past week and now everyone except Curtis is called Shellee.
And as for the newest member of their family, this is Lynzie. She is an absolute cutie that loves to give me her toothy grins.
