Some is still Green!

While others are totally dead.

More of Backpacking trip.

On our hike to Pinto Lake. You may have to click on them to get a closer view.

Nate and Kelli hiking with Maylee and on the way we had to filter water. Curtis got a picture of Nate filtering water next to a waterfall.
And finally Pinto Lake! It was so gorgeous there and we loved watching the sunset.
Curtis by the campfire that night at Pinto and then he got a really cool picture of the campfire.
The next day, Maylee would not eat her food so these birds decided they liked it. I moved the food to the top of the rock and got a picture of one of them.
Us on our way back.

Backpacking Trip

Curtis and I on a backpacking trip with Nate and his wife Kelli, for one last summer trip. We went to the Uinta's.

And we could not leave our dog, so here she is all tuckered out with her own backpack. She had to carry her food.

Ok so I finally got some pictures of a couple of Curtis's niece and nephews. These are Melissa's, she is visiting the family for a while.

This is Brad, he is five years old and very active.

This is Tyler, he is two and my little peanut. He finally learned my name this past week and now everyone except Curtis is called Shellee.

And as for the newest member of their family, this is Lynzie. She is an absolute cutie that loves to give me her toothy grins.

So Curtis and I got bored and decided to go for a drive out in the beautiful wilderness of Logan Canyon. This is up past Beaver Mountain. Through our travels we saw many things which we got pictures of. But the one thing we forgot to get pictures of was a Ford F250 diesel that got stuck in a mud puddle up on the dirt roads. We were not sure if we would be able to help where we were only in our jeep but some how our jeep managed to pull it out. And then the owners proceeded to offer us a beer at their camp down the road, in which we turned down and then figured it was time to go home.
This is a stream that we followed all the way up.

Gorgeous Wildflowers

This is a cabin that Curtis and the Priests camped at in the winter. Of course, at the time they got to go up to it on snowmobiles. But it still was a fun drive.

A deer on the side of the road that did not run away and we could not resist taking a picture of it.
